- 3M™ Scotchkote™ Electrical Coating FD is intended for use as a moisture and corrosion resistant outer seal on vinyl tape applications which are subjected to excessive amounts of oil. It is designed to improve the weather resistance of the taped joint or splice and is suitable for direct burial, direct water immersion or above ground applications
- A brush-on, fast drying sealant with self contained applicator for quick and easy application
- For use on joints or splices that are subject to abnormal weathering or moisture conditions
- Provides a strong, fast-drying outer seal that remains flexible when dry
- Resists moisture, oil and aliphatic hydrocarbons
- Virtually no waste if container is resealed after use
- Compatible with Scotch Vinyl Electrical Tapes
- Provides vinyl tapes with an extra oil, moisture and corrosion resistant layer of flexible coating for problem areas

Returns
For a product to be returned it must be:
- Unused and in saleable condition with original packaging.
- Returned within 14 days of receipt of goods.
- Classified as “In Stock” or “Available From DC” stock status. This can be seen on the product page.
- Returned with proof of purchase.
