Standards are set to maintain a quality benchmark, but Standards Certification takes products to the highest level of quality assurance through independent auditing.
Why Standards Compliance is not enough
Manufacturer Standards compliance is a legal obligation that is not enforced or monitored by authorities unless an incident occurs.
The manufacturer holds no responsibility to test products on an ongoing basis to be able to state Standards compliance. Taking into account manufacturing procedure variances from batch to batch, a product that complies on launch may not necessarily still comply two years later if the product is not tested periodically.
Certified Safety Products
ProChoice Certified products undergo frequent auditing by an independent JAS-ANZ accredited Conformance Assessment Body (CAB), like SAI Global or Benchmark. This ensures the relevant manufacturing processes & Standards criteria are maintained. Products are then regularly batch tested to ensure performance requirements are constantly met. The CAB issues the Certification and adds the product under license to their accreditation and schedule.
Which one would you trust? Compliant or Certified?
Product quality is assured with a Certified product in accordance with Australian and New Zealand Standards and is audited on regular basis by an independent body.
How to know if your product is Certified?
Look for the AS-ANZ accredited CAB logo with the license or identification number.
